Couldn't resist posting after I found that pic of the kid at the piano. Taking requests at two, of course! ;)

No "future" selfie, Les?

Somewhere I have a picture of myself under the age of 8 all dressed up and playing the accordion.

The 1950s were a lot of fun.

I know you guys are just dying to see that. ;)

I just want to know what you were on when you painted that guitar...

Well, it's my son's guitar, since that's my son in the picture. The guitar is a hand painted copy of the guitar Eric Clapton played in Cream from late 1966 on. The original was painted by a Dutch art collective called The Fool. Here's its story:

You might be wondering why my son wanted to tour with a guitar like the one Clapton used from 1966-70. And so am I.

I used to have a SG painted up like the Fool. I foolishly sold it. I may get another someday...because, yes, I'm that cheesy.

Hey, it's show biz! That was the original reason Clapton used it, to add a stage vibe, and Jamie tells me that audiences seem to like his as well, as the comments are positive.

I kinda dig the paint job. I mean, I wouldn't own it, but still kinda cool.

I always liked the Clapton one. I wouldn't buy one, either, although when Jamie was in town I played his, and it was really well set up, played and sounded pretty darn good.

But he did get it to add to the vibe of the show. So I get that!
