hum...excellent musicianship as far as I can see. But the crowd has a clap or die look to it that is inescapable. Bread and circuses..comes to mind...
As musicians I think we've all sold out a time or two. Just last Friday I had to play Freebird.
Don't feel badly.
I've played "Louie, Louie" more than once in my lifetime. I even think I liked it.
