I had I had it for 8 years. A PS Artist 3 semi hollow trem brazzy neck/board from 2006. The second longest I have ever owned a guitar. After living with both it and the Pomegranate PS (which knocks me out) together for several months, I also feel for my taste, it was/is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. :bawling: The Pom just fits my jazzier style a bit better tonally, and that is always #1. This one is (was?) also the easiest playing, best set up guitar I have owned.
No effort at all, ultra low action, not a buzz anywhere. I can safely say that if this guitar had come through with the correct build (like my Pomegranate) I had ordered, it would have been a lifer for sure. There is not a weak spot on the guitar, anywhere. The top, the back, the brazzy neck and fingerboard, the overlay, the workmanship, the tone, the set up.... it could not be better. The new owner is going to be VERY VERY happy, and I am VERY VERY sad right now. It was the hardest piece of gear to part with of anything I have owned. It gave me so much happiness. I made countless demo clips with it, and learned SO much practicing and playing it. Not sure if the new owner is a member here or not, but if you are, I hope you chime in with your thoughts when you get it in a day or two. A true museum piece IMO. A work of art in every way from PRS.
