And I'm ready to trade a R7, Nash Tele, and a CU24 on it.

My wife wants me to keep the non-PRSi for sentimental reasons... But man that guitar made a strong argument for coming home with me.

The neck was a great halfway point between my DGT and the baseball bat that I hold on to my R7 with. The weight was around the 8-8.5 lb mark and the contours felt nice.

Coil splits were surprisingly spanky. If I split just one, I was able to coax more Knopfler-y tones out of the guitar. Which is why I hold on to the CU24.

I'm going to need a third job of PRS keeps putting out guitars like this.

I'm all about you ditching your non-PRS guitars but... I'd hold back a minute. Eventually after the mania dies down you'll be able to swap your R7 for one. Then you can trade the Nash for a SC245 or a CE or DC or something..

Maximize your non-PRS trades to get the greatest results in PRS. I'm a firm believer that you can get anything you want in this life, if you're prepared to wait for it.

I don't need one, but I did email my dealer to let me know when they get a sc594 in stock.
Happy to trade my explorer, but I wouldn't give up 3 good guitars.

Thankfully we get stock slowly on Australia, otherwise I'd be sleeping on the couch... If I was lucky.

Yeah man, the 594 is legit.

If it were me, I wouldn't hesitate to move the LP and the CU24, but I'd hold off on moving the Tele. I still get a kick out of playing mine.

I sold off my sentimental guitars a couple years ago. They were never going to be on the A Team, so why keep them around?

I love my 594, but I wouldn't ditch my CU24 for it. The custom is more versatile for the music I play. I did sell off my Tele, and my old LP is kept for sentimental reasons at this point.

So my pulse has returned to normal, and logic has re-entered my brain.

Sergio is right... I need to cool my jets. In reality I'm also attached to these guitars. And like them for all of their little quirks. The same way I loved driving my old diesel Jetta.

That 594 was like a Benz Turbo Diesel. Same foundation, but so much refinement. I love the stop tailoiece design. And the thumb wheels under the bridge. The saddles as well.

The nut caused a little cognitive dissonance at first. It was odd not to see a black one.

One day I'll have one. For now I'm going to focus my efforts on playing the ones I have better.

And getting better gigs.

That was great advice. I want a 594 in a bad way too BUT if I wait a little while they will become much more affordable. I can clearly afford a new one if I want but I like to get the most for my money. I own several prs guitars now so I already own cool freakin guitars. I will wait.

594 is probably my next conquest if I ever recover from this 2 guitar purchase week... LoL!
