Ha! Good to know I'm not the only one!!HAT TRICK!
I've done that too where I go through a short burst of guitar acquisitions and just can't devote the time & effort to posting NGDs on the appropriate forum.
Thanks, man! Yeah, that color-shifting finish definitely gets the most "likes" out of pretty much any of my guitars. And, like I mentioned before, it looks incredible under stage lights!Holding back on us??? I'd say! What a threesome of stunners. Love some roasted maple, and really dig the finish on the last one. Color shifters are cool. Well done!
Thank you!Very nice congrats.
Love your complete response! Reminded me of Steve Martin from one of his old stage bits where he thanks ever member of the audience!!Thanks! I've definitely ticked some boxes in terms of variations I was in pursuit of!
Absolutely! I'll ship it out first thing in the morning!
Yeah, thanks! I've been wanting a solid color PRS for a while now, and while it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it ticked enough boxes for me for me to jump on it. I really wanted something that looked great on stage, which this one does (I get compliments on this one probably more than any of my other gigging guitars). Under stage lights, it can look blue, green, yellow, purple, or even jet black. Very, very cool looking guitar....and, of course, it plays and sounds amazing.
That's awesome....I kinda got late-80's / early 90's vibes from it, myself!
Thank you! On one hand, it kinda seems excessive....but on the other, life is short and it's fun to be mildly excessive at times.
Yes, yes I do I am now pretty much a strictly Custom 24 guy. I've got a HBII and an SE acoustic. Outside of that, all my guitars are some sort of Custom 24 variant. One of these days, I'll get to try a Santana and see if it's something that's in my wheel house. Twenty-four-fretters are just my bag, baby....
I'd love to see something like that on a PRS! Color-shifting finishes look soooooo good on PRS guitars, and there's certainly never too many colors to be had!
Yeah, when I found that one, I was pretty much on the search for a Custom 24 with a roasted maple neck. Both the Beach Fade and Autumn Sky have roasted maple necks and I feel they share similar qualities in how they respond to my playing and how they resonate. That's just me, though...
But yeah, roasted maple is absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks!
I would absolutely consider each one of these a "score"!
Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, and thank you!
You know me...nothing but snazzy
Thanks, Les!
Thanks!
Thank you! I'm glad the Custom 24 can be had in so many varieties, keeps it interesting!
Ha! How fitting!Love your complete response! Reminded me of Steve Martin from one of his old stage bits where he thanks ever member of the audience!!
A more complete set of appropriate responses I have never seen! Very well done!!Ha! How fitting!
I always feel compelled to share the common courtesy of responding to someone/anyone who's kind enough to comment or share their thoughts in response to something I might post...so yeah, I try to respond to everyone when I can!
Thanks for the kind words, I really do appreciate it!A more complete set of appropriate responses I have never seen! Very well done!!
Thank you! Yeah, the Custom 24 has just been what does it for me as a platform. I've only found one in which I didn't care for the pickups, so I swapped 'em out. All others have essentially remained completely stock with the exception of a couple cosmetic changes.Holding out is an understatement, very nice taste in custom 24s!
Thank you! You just cannot go wrong with PRS...always bound to have a gorgeous guitar when traveling that road!Wowzers! 3 Beauties to be sure. Congrats cubed!!
Thanks! Only a couple more variants out there I don't have in terms of the Custom 24 that I'd like to acquire....a satin finish of some sort, and a semi-hollow. Oh, and the new 24-08's have me intrigued, as well!Wow, talk about "go big or go home" posts - hell of a threesome you got there, congratulations!!
Yeah, Beach Fade is one of my all-time favorite finishes! When I saw these pop up, I got all giddy! I really like the fact that PRS gives dealers the opportunity to integrate the Private Stock finishes into special Wood Library runs!Oh man, that Beach Fade with the maple board and gorgeous back is perfect!
slammim' scores!
