First off, no pics because Photobucket is down. I can tell you that it is green and has an average top at best. Clearly I can live with it though. What the guitar did have was an instant great feel when I put my hands on it. The satin finished wide fat neck is really a joy to play. The guitar definitely sounds great but it is limited by the pots. Volume is either on or off and the tone pots don't appear to do anything. I'm almost thinking the wiring was messed up from the factory but that's an easy fix.

All in all it's a solid guitar that I got at a great price due to the model change. It's the first import guitar I've had in years and I think I'll end up enjoying it.

I play mine as much as my USA guitars....it sounds like you might have an issue as my volume and tone pots work...

If you need to replace any pots, caps, etc, be sure to have the vendor supply them. These are small faults and nothing to be phased about by someone such as yourself obviously. Then again a novice might not realise there is an issue. Very poor QC by the dealer.

Photobucket is back up.. This picture was taken inside at night and makes the guitar look a little more plain than it is.

A sincere 'congratulations ' from me!!!

I have a ZM with ridiculous flame in the veneer, and I adore it. I play it as much as I do my Core CU24.

The wiring/electronics issues can be sorted out easily enough...and, fortunately, those issues have zero bearing on how the guitar physically FEELS to you, while playing.

Months ago, I found a 2014 (I think) ZM at a local GC. It had almost NO figure in the veneer, and what WAS there didn't match up too well. I was put off by it..until I played it. It was nothing short of phenomenal. Everything felt perfect.

I was short on cash at the time, so I walked away from it...and was butt-hurt for weeks, until I found my Trampas Green one when I had cash on hand.

Sort out your pots in due time...and just go acoustic until then!!!!! :)

Happy NGD to ya, sir!

I disagree with having the dealer sort out the pots. The first things I do with my SE`s are change to a USA nut, and replace the pots with CTS 500`s of the highest value I can find. The pickups are frequently good.
