Singlecut Trem Discontinued

I am a proud owner of three PRS guitars, one of my favorites being a Singlecut Trem model. Does anyone know why they discontinued this model?

I am a proud owner of three PRS guitars, one of my favorites being a Singlecut Trem model. Does anyone know why they discontinued this model?

My guess is that it either didn't sell as well as they had hoped, or that they wanted to guide the sales of a tremolo equipped singlecut to the Tremonti model, which I think is superior anyway UNLESS you do not like the thinner necks.

For the record I own, and love, both models

Okay, thanks! I had the trem blocked off (due to a sort of bad tremolo karma) and I think that it sounded and played way better afterwards -- however, I always thought that it sounded super good!
