Singlecut & pickguard

I can give you an answer. No. Why cover up that maple cap? I took the guard off my LP for the same reason.

Somebody mounted an odd-shaped tortoise guard on a Std 24. It was a bad choice. I saw it sit for months at a ridiculously low price.

I've seen Tremonti's (SE) on ebay that people have mounted 'guards on...ugly and sat a while too.

I believe that is against the "PRS code of ethics and common sense " book of rules and regulations. you could be flogged on the main deck at sunrise, or the lower deck at sunset for that. my satin singlecut has already warned me about "even thinking about such a ridiculas act". you should be ashamed of yourself sir for even bringing this subject up. (lol)

Depends on the guitar.

An ebony pickguard on a spruce-topped archtop would be the cat's ass.

What about the mid-deck at noon? Or the mezzanine deck in the late morning? Or are those reserved for self-flagellation? :iamconfused:
