Singers Who Are/Were Amazing

Peter Gabriel
Andy Partridge (XTC)
David Gilmour
David Longdon (Big Big Train)
David Pack (Ambrosia)
Adrian Belew (King Crimson)
Robin Zander (Cheap Trick)
Jeff Lynne
Jeff Scott Soto (Sons of Apollo, etc.)
Pat Travers
Stevie Wonder
Elton John

Freddie!!! (There!, list done...) ok, actually, add Geddy Lee (an acquired taste, so I'm told),
Also love Tommy Shaw, Steve Perry, Rob Halford, Joe Lynn Turner...

Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden replaced their original singer because he had much greater capabilities. Bruce is in their current lineup and still sounds fantastic, both live and on their newest records!

Didn't see Robert Plant's name yet.

Also:
Tony Harnell (T.N.T.)
Lance King
Graham Bonnet
Ray Charles
James Brown
Ronnie Van Zant
Ian Gillan
Sebastian Bach
Robin Zander

I tried not to list anyone who'd already been mentioned, but this list should always start "Besides Freddie Mercury...".

I'm going to see the new movie in IMAX on Friday. Can't wait.

Fee's a good pull.
Sadly that bands only really good tunes are the ones Lukather wrote. (who's also a great singer).

I don’t know which ones Lukather (huge fan BTW) wrote, but I think they have a few good tunes:

She’s a Beauty
Out of the Business
I Don’t Want to Wait Anymore
Glass House
Mongo Bondage
Talk to Ya Later
Matter of Pride
Tip of My Tongue
No Not Again

talk to ya later and She's a beauty are Luke/Fee tunes.

Maybe I should've said commercially successful. good band, but the luke tunes are what resonate with me.
I'm a huge luke fan, but found out later he was in on those.

Tubes: One of the most entertaining shows I’ve ever seen live. I’m usually all about the music, but there shows were on a different level. It’s like going to a Mad Max play.

(One of the) BEST STAGE ENTRANCE IN THE HISTORY OF R&R (1:50+ mark):
