Has anyone tried a different tremolo in a SS Se?

I’ve been going through a bit of a Dann Huff era and looking to possibly upgrade to a Wilkinson trem. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a drop in replacement as I don’t want to rout the guitar but can’t find any concrete info.

I've used PRS trems as drop in on strats. Personally I'd swap the whole seSS instead but each their own. Contact John Mann for a trem.

The trem is the only thing I don’t like on the SE SS. It works well enough but the design is a pain to work with, especially when changing strings. I am going to drop a 6 screw USA version in mine but that is not a drop in replacement.

Come to think of it, I believe I will install this Vega on my SS SE. I will report back when I get it installed.

I don’t think the Wilkinson is an upgrade. Go Mann trem.

Can someone point me to a part number for the Mann? Drop in for the SS SE…is this an upgrade or just an oem replacement? Is there not a full bridge available with a brass block?
