I currently went to a guitar shop and tried both the SE and core silver sky……they felt almost identical except for the neck radius……after trying around 8 different guitars, I ended up with a stone blue SE silver sky……I actually prefer the 8.5 radius over the cores 7.75 I believe??? Might be 7.5????? Anyway the ergonomics and intonation was incredible……probably the best intonation of a guitar I’ve ever played……they literally reverberate when you hit a note……..I also love the weight. I have a original’61 fender Strat my stepfather gifted me…..the SS feels oh so much better….it actually makes you play better……when a person finds a guitar that feels like an appendage, There are no limitations!……I’ve learned more in the past month than all of last year……..these guitars are no joke!……..I recently ordered a tortoise pickguard, a core truss rod cover, and JM silver slinky’s…..I didn’t know if I’d like a 10.5 to 47 gauge strings…but now they’re my favorite sizes……the odd sizing is a great between a 10 and 11 high E, and a 46 and 48 low E. They were recommended for my silver sky by a luthier friend of mine……….i hope you have as good of luck with yours as I have with mine!…….

I tried them back to back and as a Hendrix fan that could afford either...I went with the SE. The pickups just sound more like Jimi Hendrix when he was with the Band of Gypsys.

Find the one that speaks to you and play it !!!!!
I think cost just means its more likely to be a really good guitar , but jems and be found at all price points
Specs can get you in the area but certain guitars just work better for some than others

Here’s a vote for whenever PRS REALLY wants to make the greatest Strat of all times, and puts the Pattern Regular neck with 10” radius fingerboard on the Silver Sky body. They do that and it will be THE LAST Strat I ever buy!

Heck, just recreate the NF3 exactly, but with the pickups from the Silver Sky!
