Silver Sky - Neck Markings?

Just bought myself a new 2021 SS and I've noticed there are two unusual markings on the neck of the guitar around the 6th fret. one that is a circle shape and another that is square shaped. I've owned maple neck guitars throughout my life and I've never seen something like this. If someone out there has an idea of what this is, please share. I'm of course hoping it is just visual and isn't going to affect the longevity of the neck, but was surprised when I noticed it.

It's just natural grain from what I can tell. Have no fear except of fear itself, or however that goes.
