Recently picked up a used 2020 Silver Sky and noticed that the neck and body isnt flush at the top. Does this normal? Not too concerned, was just wondering

The bottom is perfect, just the top is like that

Don't have a SS, but have enough Strats to recognize that. It looks like the neck has shifted, the strings look off center. You can look at the strings from the front and verify. If it has shifted, just loosen the 4 neck screws and pull the neck towards the gap until it closes, then tighten the screws.

Thanks its actually tight against the top piece, so cant really move the neck anymore that it already is. The strings are stright (maybe they dont look like it in the pic - but they are)

Look at the gap between the body and neck, just to the right of the circled area. It appears that the neck can move toward the gap, to eliminate the gap, which would in turn cover some of that in the circled area. The neck will actually kind of pivot, the headstock moving more than the heel, so as to close the gap. Looking at the shadows of the strings on the fret board, it appears that the high E is much closer to the edge than the low E, which is way too far away from the edge.

Agree- could be a little bit a trick of the photo angle, but the low E string certainly looks like it’s farther from the edge of the fretboard than I’d expect.

Thanks, I will check it more when I get home.
