Here it is, folks—the Triple H USA Silver Sky in Lambo Orange Pearl with Gold and Silver flakes! Seeing the release of the Orange NF3 reminded me that I never posted this project. It took about 18 months to complete. I ordered the guitar in Polar Blue in April 2022 and received it that September. Due to a backlog, I couldn’t send it to the paint shop until late January 2023. After getting the refinished body back in July, I spent a few weeks with my tech discussing pickup and wiring options while gathering the necessary parts. By mid-October 2023, it was fully assembled and wired.

Initially, I planned to keep it in the SSS configuration after the refinish, even after pre-routing it for the HSS configuration. I even considered a hotter single coil in the bridge, but knowing it wouldn’t compare to a humbucker, I shifted to an HSS setup. Then, I remembered a previous comment on my HSH Silver Sky post suggesting I should go full HHH—and that got me thinking. So here we are, with three humbuckers, and I couldn’t be happier! This guitar rips and has become my favorite, with so many configurations making it the most versatile studio guitar I own.

What do you all think of this build? After spending an extra $1,857 on parts, refinishing, and labor—was it worth it? For me, absolutely! And yes, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. In fact, I just received my Roxy Pink Silver Sky and am seriously considering giving it the same treatment. That said, if you’re considering trying these mods, I’d recommend starting with an SE Silver Sky—it's an incredible instrument for the price. Stay tuned for updates on the Roxy Pink project!

Stunning collection. Any electronics difference between the Yellow and the Pink?
Also - you need the Tom Delonge single humbucker getup as well!

Thanks!

Nope, same setup on the Midnight Rose (Pink-ish SS) as in the yellow-ish SE SS. I believe the SE has two of the three pickups from the stock Polar Blue SS, which is now the Lambo Orange HHH. So, Emerson Custom Prewired Kit with an Emerson push-pull 500K pot for the Humbucker on the two guitars you mentioned.

Haha! I do like the look of the T.Delonge strat and I actually considered it before. But I just don't think I would play it often if I did that mod to one of my SS. But you know what, maybe I'll change my mind in a few weeks/months.

You know, I think I've seen someone do T. Delonge on a Silver Sky already. I'm not sure where i saw it, if it was here in the forum or on Instagram.
