Purchased an Orion Green Maple Silver Sky.

It came perfectly setup out of the box with the exception of having a medium action. Im still getting to know the guitar(4days old) as its quite different from my fender ultra telecaster with a compound 10-14 radius neck. What i like is that it will force me to play a variety of ways and articulate differently given the 7.25 radius!

Congrats on the guitar. I don’t have one yet. You are the first person I’ve heard describe the action as “medium.” You could get that lowered if you so desired. Everyone, even the nay sayers, says it handles low action very well, and they usually come set up that way from what I hear.

yes... i will be doing some adjustments... the neck is completely straight i will just need to adjust the bridge saddles

My Silver Skys have the same action as all my other PRS , Some folks can be fooled into thinking the action is higher than it is because of the rounder radius of the fret board, The D + G can look visually higher.

Nice collection! How low is your Silver Sky Action ?

Yeah, I definitely like ~ 1.25 mm at fhe low end for the treble strings raising to a little over 1.5 mm or so for the bass. I feel that it makes it easier to play cleanly with larger fingertips...probably my imagination!

I am soo happy, mine is 1.25 and SWEET doesn’t start to describe it!!
