Signed Guitares

Lots. He signs guitars all the time. It is doubtful anyone really knows, assuming you are referring to guitars he personally signed as opposed to every Custom 24 made in the last 34 years which has his signature on the headstock.

Yeah, what VB said, lots. I was a Chicago Music Exchange last night for his Event. There were 30 - 40 people lined up to get their guitars signed by him.

Thank you for your reply.
This one is signed on the back, does this make a difference?

Value wise, no. If it's personalized, and someone were trying to sell it, it may take away from the value. Who wants to buy a guitar signed "To Jim" besides some dude named Jim?
Yeah, and how many Jim’s could there be who wanted a PRS? Could be worse though - try to find someone else with the initials VB.

Someone with the screen handle Tojim?

Victor D Brenner...designed the back of wheat pennies from 1909-1958...Still looking for a 1909 VDB penny. Wow, I guess that was my total geek moment!!!!

There’s a significance when it comes to private stock guitars, in that Paul personally inspects and tests every PS.

In this context, Paul’s signature signifies “I personally have verified and vouch for the quality of this guitar”. As opposed to “Hi, greetings to Tom”.

In 50 years time it will be cool to have a guitar signed and inspected by the company founder. Along with another 15,000. :p
