Hi LMS - there is some information on the PRS site under "model history" but you seem to have most of that already. I have one, and it's a really cool guitar. There were some with maple tops, but most are cedar as the one you are looking at is. The pickups are special vintage bass pickups in both positions. So it's not as much of an "in your face" sound as a CU24 of the same era. I think the ToM bridge contributes to that ad well. Mine feels like a "standard" neck carve, very comparable to the current "pattern regular" carve. Brazzy board, mine is quite light but beautifully figured.
I've seen prices on these vary from mid 3K to high 4K depending on condition.
