Show your SC-J Thinline!

I'd love one , they seem to all be going for $6500 .. 3 on the verb ...
Back just before the pandemic I was seriously looking at one, but had other expenses. Almost picked one up for $3500, but felt, at the time, it was a bit pricey, and it might come down...

Then the pandemic price hike happened, everyone learned guitar, many bought extras, and now most of my GAS items are totally out of reach.

I have an SC-J. It's a spectacular guitar. Sounds and plays like magic and is quite beautiful. I have owned many guitars over the years and this one stands out as a favorite.

Joe designed it. No surprise his Sheyenne is not too far off.
I saw this statement and thought "Hmm, if I can't find a PRS SC-J at a price I can reach, maybe the Knaggs Sheyenne will fit the bill." So I took a quick look on Reverb.

Yeah, they go for a couple grand more.

Looking at both, it's clear the SC-J has a much larger body, and the Sheyenne looks more in line with a DC 335-style guitar. And yes, looks like new vs. used pricing is in effect there on Reverb. Watch and wait.

The Sheyenne looks like an interesting instrument.

Not being a 335 player any more, I wouldn't have a use for it, but it's certainly attractive!

The Sheyenne is gorgeous and unlike 335's is a carved vs laminate body , hence the premium. The SC-J looks like a single cut 335 size i.e. dreadnaught.

After picking up 3 single cuts this summer , I prefer the single cut size of the Chena or 594 HB SC, when sitting or on a small stage.
