So much fun to see that...it reminds me of...

The Darkness Played at Matt3310's Place????
Too Cool!!!

Well... it took a bit but I finally cleaned my ****pit up.

Vela, McCarty, Custom 24, CE-22, LP

Wah -> Vibe -> Splitter -> Amps -> Cabs

One amp is EL34 and the other is 6V6.

Delay is in the loop of the 6V6 amp.

I pulled the OD off my board to force myself to work the amp more.

My heart wants a second 4x12. My brain wants a second 2x12.

Have a nice day! :)

Dude! None more black! Great look, and the artful cable arrangement gets my seal of approval as well. Nice, moody shot.

While all of this would be overkill in my modest music room, the plexiglass presentation case for your effects is a work of art. How did you acquire the plexiglass (and/or glass) shelving case?

There are lots of variations of plexiglass shelving designed for slatwall displays in stores. Check Amazon or any commercial shelving retailer. The little “staircase” ones are great for most pedals, the ones designed for shoes are great for larger wah, expression or volume style pedals. All it takes is A few shelves, a section of slatwall, some LED light strips and a little imagination...and way too many pedals...Voilà!!!

Thanks for your response! Although I personally don't collect effects myself, I was wondering what it would take to build a staircase shelf unit like yours, and then go about filling the shelf!

It might be possible to place staircase shelf in front of my cinderblock bookcase somehow...if it were possible to fit shelf support tabs between the cinderblocks on either side of the shelf...was hoping to forego the slat wall, but this may be a requirement where the plexiglass shelf would need to sit within the open area between the cinderblock shelves...

I thought I'd chip in and post my little corner dedicated to the craft.

<Insert excuse about the mess> I'm working on tidying things up, have a pedalboard that's coming in tomorrow and some nice custom cabs being made by a local amp guy.

Before everyone exclaims "Hey Alan (not you), I see you have one of those toy headless things, but where are all the guitars that we're here for?"

Well, first of all, Shut Up! You take that back! It's not a toy!

But, yeah, all the real guitars, as Les says: "don't like it in the basement." They get to live upstairs where Mrs. Plaid can "enjoy all the pretty guitars." They're only downstairs while I am actively playing.

The rest of the room is my office, and I am oft want to noodle while waiting on a compile, or some other downtime while I am working.

So, without further ado, here it is. I'll update with more pics if ya'll like as I get things looking better.

Thank you, I have a lot to sort out, but it makes me happy =)

Pretty close! It's a GA 19 RVT Falcon. Just had it serviced for the first time since I got it, and the tremolo is divine. Got it back in the 90s when I was working in a guitar store, and no one thought they were wroth anything. I though it was cool looking, esp the handle.

Home gear. I have the ES-8 set up to run either like a straight in line pedalboard or 4 cable method to run some time based effects in the Archon loop and the rest in front of the amp. I just program each preset for however I want to run it.
