Plain old cup a Joe

I never had a habit or addiction but quit all and everything 40 years ago because none of my friends could share a pizza without excessive pitchers of beer or doing just an everyday activity without getting a buzz of some sort first. Lots of abuse seen as a professional engineer in the old tape multitrack days. I quickly became head cop in the equipment police and mixing console protector.
Now I live in rural KY and just deal with the occasional whiskey bottle thrown in my woods from the 4 wheelers going down the road adjacent to my property. F'n litterbugs.

There are plenty of neurotic people who blather on and on about their boring sh!t on a social occasion. I'd like them to drink more and talk less. If they get drunk enough to spend the night in the bathroom driving the big white bus, I'm fine with it.

There, I said it.

"You're every bit as boring as they are, Laz. Maybe even more boring."

"That isn't true, I can talk knowledgeably about lots of topics."

"Yeah, see, that's the problem. How about I buy you a drink?"

I am more of a craft beer guy, and those don't stick around long enough to photograph them hahaha. Here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada we have a large number of local breweries always putting out great brews. I am partial to an IPA or something hoppy but enjoy sampling all sorts.

The wife and I also enjoy a nice bottle of full bodied Red wine. We have a few special bottles put aside, but not what I would call a "cellar" or collection. Just what we enjoy.

My passed away best friend's partner handed me over his whisky bottles at our meeting at her home - additional to his guitar.
Increased my stock a little bit. Being a really rarely consument, I better use it as a Eau de parfume to reduce the stockpile rather than drinking.
A month ago was the last time I had a nip.
