On 7th OCT my best friend would have turned 47. Last year he missed his party because he was in artificial coma as a result of severe sickness. And this year and for every following year because of his passing on 22nd MAR 24.
The grief is still a heavy load.

So sorry to hear that he will not be celebrating his birthday in the plane anymore! I am sure there are a lot of emotions and memories wrapped up in that video and it's shots that I do not understand, but thanks for sharing!! And good on you to honor him in this way ;~))

I really think it is an excellent underrated song from Prince! I guarantee most "fans" have never even heard it as it was after he stopped being a corporate slave and therefore it did not get the proper distribution and exposure!! Totally agree, it could boost guitar sales, if they use Prince's version!!! This is a video (AI images with transition effects) of me covering U2's "One" song! I will admit, the only U2 album I ever owned was "Zooropa" and I love it (saw the tour as well with Lou Reed beaming in via satellite to join in for U2 covering his "Satellite Of Love"), but this is a great song and I love singing/playing it!!

Well the band died BUT I do have a Bandmix page with 3 tunes I wrote, or copied. I did all of the music and sang on two of them Alnus Rubra (Ruben) sang on one of them!! Ruben- There's a NEW 38 special song on the page I need a vocal for!!! Give it a listen and we'll mash it up again!

Here is "Queen B!tch" by David Bowie! I have loved this song (and the album "Hunky Dory") for so many years, it is such a blast to be able to play this ;~)) I will eventually put a better audio take (still learning this song and I know I can do better) to the video, but the video was fun to build as well! AI images from Midjourney, so if you have your panties in a bundle over AI, either don't click or close your eyes/turn your head from screen while it plays. The audio has zero AI ;~)) It also has no punch ins, no overdubs, no instruments added, no fancy studio effects or corrections, just the capture of a live performance in my studio on November 1, 2024! Hope you dig it and if you have never heard this song before, be sure to check out the original from Mr. Bowie!!!
