Thanks! The eagle was carved into the wood by Floyd Scholz. The guitar actually started out life in a bluish Nightshade, but has since faded into Trampas Greenish..

I gathered as much, his work is par to none, although his big carvings are stellar but I like the idea
of having a small one that don't eat much off the surface of a great top, and that color complements it very nicely.

There were 10 of these made, with small carvings, one guitar for every bird of the standard PRS fretboard bird inlay. One perched owl, one landing eagle, etc etc. Very cool idea!
