It was really nice of Chris to validate the authenticity in a PM to me after my wife and sister in law won it for me in an auction a benefit we played and I provided sound for for a drummer friend that had cancer. Sadly, he ended up passing away a few months later. His widow now sings with us....

My modded CR with Cor57/08 (still can't decided if I should put a ivory cover on the P-90) It also had amber lampshades on it before the black, can't decide if the the amber lampshades look better?

If I went back to the black ring on the bridge then I think it would certainly get the amber knobs.

Here's mine.

Definitely planning on a pickup swap for it. I'd like something lower-output. But I've mostly been playing my SE HBii lately so I haven't felt that motivated to do it. I absolutely love the feel and playability of this guitar, but not so much the sound.

I also love how it looks black in some light, red in others.
