It's not core but my first PRS. The nicest SE I've owned and played until maybe the 35th. For the longest time I wondered why even buy a core? Until I did.. Now, I know, but this is about as close as you can get. It has a floyd and I don't see the need to spend the money on a core floyd. Too many other guitars on the list, and I love this one way too much. Upgrades are full core electronics, pots, jack, and 5 way switch, DW tomahawk pups, hipshot locking tuners, satin neck, fat brass block, US knobs, black pickup rings, and core strap buttons on the way. I didn't think I'd like core strap buttons but turns out I do. The dual birds on the 12th and flight pattern are so cool to me. The peal inlays look great too!

This is a 30th anniversary model but it was made early, in 2014 instead of 2015. You know, the same thing they do with cars when they release next year's model year a month or two before that calendar year actually gets there. That's how I got this one. The early release of the 30th Anniversary models... and yes (in case you are wondering) it does have a 2014 year marking in front of the serial number on the back of the headstock. A 2015 model made in 2014. I assume that I was the first kid on my block to get his hands on a 30th Anniv. model.
