Should PRS move the toggle switch out of the way from the whammy bar

In this day and age?

I mean, we have AI.

Just sit down, pour yourself a drink, and let the damn guitar play itself. Then go on stage, take a bow, and make your speech.

"Thank you for this 'best guitar instrumental' grammy, members of the academy. I'm so glad I had the money to own this guitar, it did a beautiful job playing itself, and it even wrote and sang the song. I couldn't ask for more."

It's not really that much "in the way" on my S2 Standard, but since I rarely/never use it, I simply take the tremolo bar off...

I noticed Bryan Ewald when moving the toggle switch on all the PRS videos he goes behind the bridge to make a change. I have been always going straight down and then awkwardly move around the whammy bar. I will try his way and try to get used to it.

Good observation. I automatically reach straight down, but I've been playing Strats since I was 14 years old, so in my mind that's where a blade switch is supposed to be.

I think this is why I'm leaning towards the McCarty/CE layout.
It makes you swipe behind.
Also, the 3 position toggle at least has some adjustability as far as throw angle.

I use his technique.... I've had various positioned blade models so long that I can adapt to all of them!

I have no issue with the whammy placement, but the single volume knobs with the trem tend to be located in a place that I occasionaly bump , causing a volume drop.. not earthshaking , but slightly annoying . I like my Santana's placement for things much better

Um, @Revelation,

what should I do with two blade switches in radius of the vibrato arm?

We as human beings are really good in adapting ourselves and coping to new situations or challenges.
NEVER EVER I observed any issue with the position of the switch(es).
You need to play more to establish automatism to not overthink.
