I always hit it when I go to tap.
I noticed Bryan Ewald when moving the toggle switch on all the PRS videos he goes behind the bridge to make a change. I have been always going straight down and then awkwardly move around the whammy bar. I will try his way and try to get used to it.
I think this is why I'm leaning towards the McCarty/CE layout.Good observation. I automatically reach straight down, but I've been playing Strats since I was 14 years old, so in my mind that's where a blade switch is supposed to be.

I use his technique.... I've had various positioned blade models so long that I can adapt to all of them!I noticed Bryan Ewald when moving the toggle switch on all the PRS videos he goes behind the bridge to make a change. Did the title and content of this thread change, or have I been high on model cement this entire time?
Wasn’t this about blade switches, and not toggles?
It will soon be a thread recommending the toggle switch be moved to match the blade switch location, and I will rage quit.Did the title and content of this thread change, or have I been high on model cement this entire time?

Um, disagree.Um, @Revelation,

what should I do with two blade switches in radius of the vibrato arm?
We as human beings are really good in adopting ourselves and coping to new situations or challenges.
NEVER EVER I observed any issue with the design.
You need to play more to establish automatism to not overthink.
