the PRS starla is my favorite guitar of all time. this is my 3rd that ive had...and no i didnt get rid of the other two due to any faults. the first was banged up and i wanted a newer one. the second, i put a bricksbiggsfix on thinking it needed it and it totally ruined the guitar and i had already gotten rid of the stock roller.. dummy me. i wanted one in blue anyway.
Fast forward 5 months, a hole the shape of a starla was in my heart and, determined to have one and keep one, i finally sell my entire rig, buying a brand new Starla Frost blue along with some other gear. this is truly the perfect combination of all the best parts of a gretsch and tele, without all the bad stuff.
aaaaand this is the best playing, sounding, feeling, and lightest one of the three... and the most beautiful!
and to you, Mr. Paul Smith... you are obviously smart and you certainly know how to make a guitar but discontinuing the starla was the biggest mistake ever.
