Finally, thanks to my German forum friend Martin (Maert513) I owe him big chunk of gratitude for going out of his way
sending his 513's back plates to his luthier friend (Linus guitars) in Vienna to make me a IRW set:

They are not as dark as the neck, so I might tint them in a darker shade to match a bit better.
Not only that he also ordered for me a pack of Ebony tuner button to match the neck and headstock overlay
excuse the phone pictures, took them the same night the package arrived:

IT has now more natural less blingy look that is still very striking

Thanks again Martin for the big help that put a big smile on my face  :top:

It has been a real pleasure, my soul brother!!!

(I had an advance too, because I ordered wooden backplates aswell. And to highlight the real thing: We share friendship!)

True, and to solidify this friendship we have to meet (in your country or mine) at some point in the future

Maybe the Beer Fest ( if the stars aligned for me  )

Yeah, would be great!!!

Different guitar, different backplates, but same luthier and material.

The luthier did that already. One or two or... coats of wood stain will bring the backplates´ shade to the darker colour of the neck.

That is beautiful! Exactly how I have my Taylor set up. I changed everything to Rosewood on her (tuners, etc.).

Great truss rod cover, PRS Bird & Moon!

When i ordered this truss rod cover they told me at (shark inlays) it came
Out the best so far and replaced the previous onee on their website page

I'll get the stain on monday and give ut a go "apply, dry and repeat" till i get the desired shade

I'm curious how many paintjobs you have to proceed. And next Monday your 513 is supposed to be presented at Modified Monday.

I hope so my soul brother, the guy who promised me the stain container
didn't show up today and if I'm going to get it myself it'll to wait till the weekend
so I'm hoping he will show up tomorrow or the day after... Fingers crossed
as for the number of coats, I estimate 3 max.

I had ebony buttons on my first PRS. Wish I would've kept it. Boy did I screw up there. Yeah, they are only $ and I could buy them...but I want my old ones!
