Thank you for sharing your new guitar's journey with us. I always love seeing progress pictures of builds so this is a treat for me. Excellent wood choices as I wouldn't expect anything less from you. Can't wait to see it all finished!

Also, those figured hog necks are insane! Holy mother of sweet baby Jesus!!!!
 
The fret board radius is done in the CNC machine, but we finish it by hand. The billet of aluminum alloy has the same 10" radius found on the fret board. We lay sandpaper across the billet and use it to complete the sanding process. Andrew demonstrates here:
That was extremely interesting, and the neck figuring is sublime.:cool:
 
Shawn, what neck carve did you go for?
The back of the headstock where it meets the neck looks a little strange to me... does not look like other 594s pattern vintage...
