Our son Scott made us very proud last week. He completed his second show of the year.

This show was West Side Story, with the Dundee Schools Musical Theatre. He took the lead role as Tony.

Four nights to a packed auditorium, standing ovations and very well received.

The cast was made up of 14-16 year olds. There was an incredible amount of singing, dancing and acting talent on stage.

The show was given rave reviews in the local press and online.

Sorry for the gushing post, but I can’t help but be a proud Dad.

Scott’s duet with his Maria brought tears to his Mother’s eyes. There must have been some dust in the Theatre, because those certainly weren’t tears in my eyes!

So cool.

What a talented lad. You definitely should be proud. Is it videoed somewhere? Me and my family would love to see Scott in action

When it’s online, I’ll send you and Ola a link.

Gush pop....that's part of the returns on what we put in as parents from day one. Congratulations!

He came off stage on the last night, came up to me, threw his arms around me and said:

“Thanks for giving me my singing voice!”

There are no words.🥲
