Thinking I might juice my Custom 24 a bit, I swapped the bridge pickup with a SD JB, which is supposed to be a pretty hot pickup. I'll be damned if I can tell the difference in sound or output, though.

Apparently. It was kind of a waste of time and money. One of these days I'll put the HFS back in there and eyeball my other guitars and see who could use the SD.
 
Depending on your musical tastes, there’s a reason PRS put 57/08s on CU24s for a while: vintage PAFs do very well in that guitar. Mine is expecting a Seymour Duncan Antiquity infusion soon.
