Seymour Duncan Blackouts in SE Custom 24?

So has anyone installed a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts in an SE Custom 24? Any advice on where to place the battery? Would it fit in the controls cavity?

Put it in the control cavity with a piece of foam to prevent it from coming in contact with any metal (\m/)

The blackouts are some of my favorite active pickups. I currently have them in a strat but would definitely put them in any SE that might come my way...or perhaps even a core model if I was going for that type of sound.
