There are a ton of fabulous guitarists out there, no question.
I've always believed that a measure of your skill is being able to play something like the following with feeling and no mistakes. Theoretically, it isn't that difficult, just arpeggios for the most part. What makes it impressive is just the skill and confidence it takes to play something like this all the way through without any mistakes and adding just the right touch of drama and nuance.
Don't think it's difficult ... try it. see how you do.
