Semi hollow pickup replacement

Has anyone tried putting Tremonti pickups in a 22 SE semi hollow ?
I love the feel of the guitar, but looking for more of a metal sound.

I never thought about that. I’m sure you can do it, but I was under the impression that a hollow or semi-hollow leaned a bit more toward the mellow.

The Semi's have a more open tone , no reason you can swap a high gain pick up in. Even my HBII can handle high gain with no issues.

I put 59/09’s in my S2 Semi-hollow custom 22. It’s ferocious with gain.
