Only because Mrs. Les got kicked out of the studio for eating an apple in there.
oh stop it!
Just a year too old for a birthday guitar here, unless I could find a prototype
I’m pretty sure that Frampton might have something
I should ask my buddy Carlos, lol
Indeed you can, ask him nicely for an autograph for me please
Not totally sure, but I've seen a few that a close numbers that are 89, so, Im hoping!
Sig 499 is 1990 - here
Sig 508 is 1989 - here
Sig 529 is 1989 - here
That third one makes my legs go weak!
I wish you the best of luck in your quest
499 is in my collection
That's cool - a few guitars I own or used to own (three I think) were on the old Vintage PRS site too. Shame it closed down - I really liked that site.
I like this thread! I am feeling younger by the post....
Same. And thank you sir
Other than the back of the headstock the old pics are not showing on the web archive copy of the site. Fom memory I think 499 has completely faded on the top? If it's that one I liked how it had faded - almost to Vintage Yellow if I am thinking of the same guitar.
Hard to read the Sig number on this one but it looks like it's either 521 or 527 - I suspect probably 527 due to the spacing - the hanger obscures the last number so it's hard to tell.
For sale in Italy at the moment here - also on Reverb.
Poss worth sending them an email to ask what Sig number it is if the price doesn't put you off.
If you click in to the last two pictures they look like this. The whole guitar looks super.
That one is 529 unfortunately! Good looking out though!
Bump for new views, anyone with info?
