And proof is the paradise of Les' basement setup.
Only because Mrs. Les got kicked out of the studio for eating an apple in there.

Wouldn't mind having me a nice '92 PRS.
I'm after a 93 but doubt 12/21 would be an easy find being so close to Christmas and all.
Just a year too old for a birthday guitar here, unless I could find a prototype
I’m pretty sure that Frampton might have something
I should ask my buddy Carlos, lol
Not totally sure, but I've seen a few that a close numbers that are 89, so, Im hoping! Are you sure 521 is a 89...I have seen ones in the 400s that are 90. Early PRS serial# are all over the place

I like this thread! I am feeling younger by the post....66-67.
I hear that. That’s when I graduated high school.

Same. And thank you sirThat's cool - a few guitars I own or used to own (three I think) were on the old Vintage PRS site too. Shame it closed down - I really liked that site.

Other than the back of the headstock the old pics are not showing on the web archive copy of the site. Fom memory I think 499 has completely faded on the top? If it's that one I liked how it had faded - almost to Vintage Yellow if I am thinking of the same guitar
Yes...faded almost to natural with just the wisps of Bonni Pink.
