Hi guys,

I just purchased a PRS SE Paul Allender. The dealer was kind enough to unbox it and take pictures of it before I purchased it. When he sent me the pictures there was a little surprise. It was signed by PRS himself:

I was told that some people receiving guitars like this lacquer/seal the signature to preserve it.

Is there a certain way I should go about this? A certain product that's better than others to use?

Thanks for any info.....

If you really want to preserve the siggy, I would get a new cover plate and install it and keep the signed one somewhere else. As for sealing it, I don't know...sorry.

I didn't notice it was on a plate. Yeah that's a good idea. I could probably experiment with a second purchased plate and devise something that works well.

Thanks.....
