Se tremolo springs

I’m thinking about adding a spring to one of my se. do I need a specific prs spring, or can I use one of my strat spring?

Did you buy the guitar new? they usually come with an extra spring in the packaging.

No. This one is a used one.

Any spring will probably do, but sometimes the tensions are different depending on the maker.

Try that Strat spring and see what happens.
