Ooh, now they are selling them, I might buy one for my lone SE with trem - my Akerfeldt.

All my other SEs are stop tails or through bodies. Which is weird, since I was a trem guy for yonks.

You can easily add a tip to the existing bar. Just wrap a little double sided tape around the end of the bar to give the tip something to grip, and then screw it on. Good to go. Only trick is getting the right size tip, I suppose.

Hi its standard 3 /16" (imperial) bar inc the low chrome plating.

I believe that you can remove the plastic tip of the core trem arms. I've not tried it, but Google around or search this forum, I'm pretty sure I've seen it mentioned here.

A heat gun will put out sufficiently to soften the glue. Then I just slid the plastic off. I replaced them all with wood.
