I’m attempting to understand the pickup wiring. I’ll focus on the neck for the sake of discussion and because, I disconnected the bridge, black wire while poking around.

Here’s what I think the colors mean, is this correct (for the neck)?

Black - Slug/North Start – Hot (connected to switch)
White - Screw/South Start – Ground (connected to mt 11)
Green - Slug/North Finish – Series 1 (connected to mt 10)
Red - Screw/South Finish – Series 2 (connected to mt 01)
Bare – Ground – n/a for neck?

Regarding the toggle processing:

Mini toggle (mt) position matrix:
00 10 Gnd Green
01 11 Red White
02 12 null Gnd

2. When toggle down/full HB mode – White/Screw/South Start is grounded, but Red/Screw/South Finish is left open. Is it the same as taping it off and doesn’t matter, as long as it doesn’t short out with anything?

3. When toggle up/split mode. Slug/North coil is only one active. The Red/Screw/South Finish goes to ground, the Green/Slug/North Finish and White/Screw/South Start are open. Is the split enabled since the South Start is grounded and South Finish is open, they cancel out the Screw/South coil. It’s confusing trying to understand how the split actually functions.

FYI - I did review SE CU408.pdf and SE_paulsguitar_custom2408_standard2408_current.pdf from the PRS specs page. They don't match but did lead me to these questions. I also verified the north and south values and that the slug coil is active when in split mode.
