SE Soapbar II Maple...is this stock?

Hey, new member! Hope someone can help me out.... Sorry if totally noob questions!

I just purchased a 2006 SE Soapbar II Maple. Both the volume and the tone knobs pull out, and change the sound. Wondering if this is stock, or has been upgraded.

What's the best to way to know exactly what's happening when they are pulled up?

Neck position:
volume up - doesn't seem to do anything
tone up - cuts all sound

Bridge position:
volume up - no change
tone up - changes sound to what the neck sounds like

Middle position:
volume up - more treble, but not as much as bridge alone
tone up - more bass, pretty close to neck alone

I have an SE Soapbar II from 2005. Just a volume, tone and 3-way switch. Yours has definitely been modded. You can contact the PTC and give them your serial number to find whatever official info exists for your model.

Cool. Thanks for that info! It also has locking tuners so I imagine that's also a mod...?
