I jut am aquiring a like new SE Singlecut and was wondering if a person can put a coil split on the stock pick ups? it is a 2010 in Vintage natural.
SE Singlecut question.

ok cool. I know some pick ups do not have the extra wires for coil splitting-- that was what I was wondering. I was thinking for now doing the USA drop in 3 way with volume and push/pull tone. would give more variety of tone. then in the future maybe upgrade to PRS USA Pups.

The pickups probably don't have the extra wire built in. I've never seen that on a SE pickup before. I have added a wire though, it's a medium level project where if you aren't careful you could ruin the pickup.
