Did some updates to my SE Silver Sky Dragon Fruit:

• white pearloid ABS pickguard (Crazyparts)
• Gotoh SD90-MG locking tuners
• aluminum tape on original trussrod cover, for now

The big one is the tuners. Locking tuners make all the difference in the world with a trem. And nothing beats a mother of toilet seat pickguard.

Looks like the nut was upgraded as well OP...

The nut is the original one. Might have a bit graphite all over it though

Anything "extra" needed with the tuners, or were the Gotoh ones an easy change out?

I got a very similar pick guard did not feel a need to change the tuners...

Not really, I just left the original bushings in, not using the Gotoh ones that have an ever so slightly larger outer diameter (but the same inner diameter). The PRS bushings are shorter, not the full hole depth, but I don’t see any issues.

The buttons on the Gotoh are smaller and do not extend as far from the headstock, the high E button does remain closest but there’s still room to wind it freely, even with a string winder if you don’t push it to the very bottom.

Very happy with the tuners!
