SE serial numbers

Is the serial number of the SE acoustics, noted on the back of the headstock and in the paper inside the soundhole an accurate reflection of chronologicial order of build?

That is to say, is my SE 00000091 actually only the 91st Custom SE produced? Do the Customs and the Standards follow the same serial sequence, or are they done separately?

I'm curious, 'cause in 25 years, I want to be able to give my future grandchild a guitar and say "This was one of the first 100 ever made....for perspective, now they are up to 1,250,000!!

I doubt this baby saw anytime in the wild - I mean "Serial#: 000001" is a big deal and is reserved only for the Z'est of Z's!
