Hi new to group. Typed up a long question and I guess it didn't save because I don't see it.
Maybe some one can help. Also I couldn't post photos.
Question, can I just run resistors from my ground lug on the mini toggles to vol and tone pots? Basically use one leg of the resistors as the ground link for the toggle? Main reason I can't, no matter how much prep, get solder to stick to the switch. So figured just use resistors as ground link for the switch and then they function to do partial coil splits.
My coils split now, but want to try a 1.2 neck and 2.2 bridge on my Super 2 Pickups. Right now I get 4.18k on neck and 4.3k on bridge and with resistors in thinking I can get close to 5k or better.
