The SE Locking tuners on the 245 are so enjoyable, I splurged for some more!

This is the installation of SE Locking "Low Mass" (as advertised on the 'verb, low mass SE don't exist) tuners.

Back of headstock - same impressions from tuners as the 245, tuner post bolts and screws are loose from factory (2017)

Shielded control cavity - it's shielding paint 0.013 ohms reading, and foil on the cover
Also...recessed control plate (didn't realize this until this inspection)

I can only assume the paint in the pickup cavities are also shielding paint, alas I did not check.

These tuners are awesome, the brass does add a tad more bright!

Thanks for tuning in. Next time...S2 594 Phase 3 tuner installation

Forgot the backside, which is love!

Maybe plug the screw holes on the trem cover with 3/4mm abalone fret dots and go for the full naked Santana trem cavity look! ;)

If you do it, you will maybe need to plug the screw hole with a small dowel first and the drill for the fret marker.
