What is the black material used on SE nuts. Who makes a good replacement nut?

Just to piggyback here a bit...I want to use a U.S. PRS nut on my 2018 SE CU22 Semi-hollow. I'm a little confused because obviously to SEs don't really go by the Pattern necks so which one should I buy? I've been thinking about this one: https://www.zzounds.com/item--PAUNUTPR

Regular or wide/thin?

Most people replace with PRS USA or Graphtech.
While most people who have SEs don’t change their nuts, those that do tend to choose a Core nut. (I have 5 SEs and haven’t found the need to change the nut on any of them)
YMMV ;)

Mine was cut too deep, and the cavity due to the way it was molded prevented sanding down from the top. Strings only have to stay in place, not be entirely entombed in the nut slot. PRS nuts are famous (rather infamous) for being cut too deeply.

I just got an SE Mira today, so far very impressed with it. I think the nut on this one claims to be graphite composite, versus "synthetic" on a SE Custom 24 for example. Not sure of the difference, and it's only been a few hours, but I'm fairly happy with the stable tuning so far, compared to the two (now one) Gibsons I own, that have poor nuts, rarely stay in tune. And they're more expensive. Got a new S2 too, and that also seems to stay in tune very well. Fingers crossed, but I don't see any need to change either so far. Time will tell.
