SE NF3?!

Interesting, 22 frets, standard PRS trem. I had a core NF3 when they first came out that I liked a lot. What is the body wood on these?
And an “incorrect” scale length of 25”.

I guess higher commonality of parts is important to keep the price down.

I’m curious to find out more about the pickups though. Like, would an SE SS with Lil’ 59s be a better purchase in the long run?

I sort of want one and instantly route the bridge for a 59/09

Those pickups look the same as the pickups in my NF53. If they are the same pickups they sound terrific, but now have me curious about where the pickups in my NF53 were made.

I’d say no, my hunch is these pickups will sound very different from everything else in the stable. The SE SAS and the Core SAS don’t sound like the same guitar, so I have both. The body wood, maple source for the neck, tremolo, and pickups could have the models very different. A buddy of mine is already lined up to buy one.
