I've been comparing my SE guitars and noticed (or thought I did) that the neck on my Bernie Marsden is fatter than my Santana. I looked it up and they are both supposed to be the same profile, scale, frets. Is it just my imagination?

No. They are not the same profile. The Bernie's neck is modeled after The Beast.

A gold SE245 showed up today, the first thing I did was compare the neck shape to Bernie. They're different? but I'm a moron when it comes to subtle shape differences without a visual.

Not your imagination. The Bernie is fatter than a wide fat. They aren't supposed to be alike.

Ok good. I like both but knew they felt different. PRS should spell that out in the specs. I didn't know how far they went in the modeling of the Beast. It's a really good guitar. Thanks for helping.
