SE line up?

Hi all,

Is anyone else having trouble finding an SE model these days with the current line up?

I've been playing PRS since 2006 and I've finally owned and sold enough of them to know what specs I want but can't get - new or used.

Essentially I want the SE Custom 22 but with the stoptail and wide fat neck. I got the 2016 SE Custom 22 but I'm not liking the wide thin neck.

The closest looks like the SE Standard 22 but I'm not sure about the lack of maple cap and Indonesian build as I've not been able to see one in person.

Can anyone vouch for the SE Standard 22 build and tone wise without the maple cap?

My family will kill me if I buy and sell yet another guitar...

I have an Indonesian made SE Standard 24. The build quality is excellent. Extremely resonant guitar. For the money I paid it should not be this good but it is. Do the trade now and deal with the family dissenters later.

Just got an Indonesian Standard 22: wonderful guitar greatly crafted.
It's quite bright even without maple cap, maybe for the pickups. Great guitar, perfectly made.
