Question for @Shawn@PRS.

Had asked a question in Hans Standard Stoptail & Trem Mods post regards modifying the bridge corners; honing them down and sanding these with fine grit for rounded bridge edges.

Can do this with my S2 SC bridge, but am wondering about the SE HBII Piezo bridge? The piezo is connected somehow. Is there a way to disconnect the piezo from the bridge so the bridge edges can be worked on away from the guitar?

Hans seems to think his HBII Piezo has a disconnect, was wondering if the SE HBII Piezo does as well...?

Thanks in advance.

I had to back off the bridge posts to bring the bridge high enough to clear the body. They need to be backed off evenly so not to bind.

Thank you for those images. When the bridge posts were raised evenly, were you able to remove the bridge and disconnect the piezo wiring, as displayed in the 2nd image? What was required to disconnect the piezo?

If removing the bridge and disconnecting was possible, how difficult was it accomplishing this, and was the reconnect relatively simple, with only some bridge stud adjustments along the way?

P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Yes, the connector just slides out and back in again. Both very simple and easy to do. No locking mechanism/tab. Thanks for the welcome.
