SE Custom 24/08 Pickup upgrade advice

Hi all, I am a first time owner of a new PRS we custom 24/08 Eriza Verde (in profile picture). I am thinking seriously about changing the pickups to a set of Seymour Duncan’s (likely JB:Jazz), thinking about going for black set and then changing the rings for white with clear lampshades, I guess I like the look of the core eriza! Anyone done something similar or any advice before I take a step?

That’s should be simple enough. The SD hot rodded set should bug you some good tones as well.

I had a set in my SE Cu24 and thought they sounded great! I've always been really happy with split tones too, that would work out well with the 08 switching.

It's one of my default pickup sets I've used many times over the years.

Thanks! Looks like it’s very hard to locate white pickup rings these days which is a shame so may have to settle on the zebra.

Do you mean pickup bobbins not rings? Guessing so by the zebra comment..

I mean the ivory pickup rings which are found in the more expensive eriza verde models with black pickups.

Hey Jamie! Bought me a pair of Seymour Duncans as well. What was your process like when changing them? I'm a little confused about whether the color wiring is the same? Any help?
